Howdy
I've extracted a 16-bit raw ERS-1 SAR image and I'm trying to display
it using grass. The binary image actually contains (I believe) an
8-bit single-look image, and the instrument backscatter also in 8-bit
depth - meaning there are actually two images contained in one. I
can set the display depth to 2-bytes using r.support but this causes
both images to be displayed at once which makes a real mess out of
an otherwise pretty radar image. Is there any way of extracting the
two raw images from one another, or displaying them separately in
grass?
