I just tried grass on a machine with a 24-bit monitor and got
the error:
X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 78 (X_CreateColormap)
Serial number of failed request: 265
Current serial number in output stream: 266
when I tried to start a monitor. Does anyone have GRASS working on a
24-bit monitor and if so how did you do it?
