7.5-minute DEM (SDTS format)

I need to import some 7.5-minute DEMs which come in the SDTS format.
Are there any grass programs that will do this?

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
Brook

Brook,
On the USGS Web site there is a program called sdts2dem.exe, which
converts SDTS-format DEMs to standard DEM format. It's a Windows program.
I can forward it to you if you can't find it.

Is there source code, also? I run Unix. More direct pointers (e.g.,
URLs) would help, too, since I can't seem to find what you are
referring to.

Thanks for the tip.

Brook,

USDA/NRCS has grass code to convert these filkes to grass

Check out ftp://ftp.blm.gov/pub/gis/sdts/dem/

This was passed on to me, so it's all I know. There appears to be source
code, but it looks like you need to download another library (check out
the SDTSDEM.faq). If you're working on a Sun, please keep me posted.
