Hi Duncan,
you can get the GRASSLinks here:
http://www.geog.uni-hannover.de/grasslinks/
-> Download grasslinks software (with spearfish dataset, 6.5MB package).
-> Read the install instructions.
You can easily use it on Apache/Linux.
The GRASSLinks is a CGI-script based software originally developed
by Susan M. Huse, REGIS/Berkeley. Venkatesh Raghavan and me modified
the package to make it working on SUN/Solaris and Linux.
Currently there are two versions available:
- GRASSLinks 2.5x/3.0b: based on shell scripts
-> our version
- GRASSLinks 3.1: based on PERL
-> version at REGIS
Comment: Venkatesh and me found the shell script version much easier to
program. The version mentioned above for downloading is our version based
on shell scripts. Venkatesh already included a DBMS interface and
other interesting features.
Examples for running GRASSLinks applications (both versions) find here:
http://www.geog.uni-hannover.de/grass/applications.html
Hope this helps!
Best regards
Markus
Whatever it takes to make GRASS, GRASSLinks, and / or whatever to go on the
web.If I knew more, I would be able to phrase the question better.
