Altek Digitizer

I've noticed that when I use my Altek AC31 digitizer with v.digit2 the
calculated map scale is roughly twice that of the real map scale. For
example, if the real scale is 1:25000, after registering my registration
points it tells me the calculated scale is 1:50000. The support people
at Altek told me to change the resolution setting of the digitizer from
.002 to .001, but then I get error messages telling me the digitizer is
out of sync. Any suggestions?

Bill,

Why are you using v.digit2? Are you running Grass under Solaris 2.2 or 2.3?

If not, you should use the v.digit program.
