I am trying to calculate the viewing angle from each pixel in a map layer.
I thought I could do this using r.los, but now that I read through the
manual page properly I see that this doesn't sem to be possible. I
understand thst r.los gives the vertical angle needed to view each pixel,
instead of what I want, which is an measurement describing the angle of the
surrounding terrain visible from a particular point.

I'm not sure I understand exactly what angle you are looking for. Could you
give me a more detailed description of your desired answer? You can e-mail me

Does anyone know how I could do this, or this there a tool availble to do
this.
