hereby we proudly present the new
TclTKGRASS 2.3 graphical user interface
with new features...
What's new (a lot!):
- improved portability (tested on Solaris and Linux well)
- STOP/CONT/KILL buttons corrected for SGI and Solaris
- new buttons for mouse picking coordinates on the active monitor:
-> in d.3d, d.grid, r.los, r.cost, r.drain, r.transect, v.mkgrid
This allows to get viewpoint positions (in d.3d), transect
points etc. easily!
- restructured main menu bar and raster menus
- added "reinitialize" feature in right mouse popup window for entry
cleaning
- new modules implemented:
-> d.barscale (replaces d.scale), d.profile, d.site.labels, d.where
i.in.erdas, r.combine, r.in.ppm, r.profile, r.statistics, r.support
- corrected modules:
-> d.colors, d.scale, d.shadedmap, d.what.rast, d.what.vect, g.manual
r.average, r.coin, r.covar, r.clump, r.in.bin, r.in.ll, r.stats

Please remove your old TclTKGRASS before installing 2.3, updating is not
possible in this version.
