Hi Ymsih,

Hi,

I'm an absolute newbie :stuck_out_tongue: ... I know that to convert vector
ARC/INFO files to grass, we use v.in.arc but how about raster data ?

Ymsih

Well, some time ago I did this and if I remember well you can
use the GRIDASCII command in ARC/INFO to get it into ascii
and give the file afterwards the GRASS-header to make it ready to
r.in.ascii ... .Perhaps there are some other methods but this one
should work for sure.

(the Grass-header info is easy to
retrieve in ARC/INFO)
