Hello Grass Users!
Can anyone give me a short primer on the archive procedures for
this list? Am I correct in thinking that all communications to this list
are archived and accessible? My mail box is very crowded!

Yes, all mail is archived and accessible on the moon. It is stored in
monthly batches for both grassu and grassp lists. I haven't looked
recently, but I'd say by now there should be well over 5 MB of mail there, whic
h is not sorted or digested in any way.
I have recently suggested to Scott Madry at Rutgers that as a user group we
make an effort to convert our collective expertise to a Grass Beginners'
Manual and/or FAQ, and have offered to make my own digest of both grass
lists available for that purpose. Perhaps we should discuss this idea some
more and see what the general feeling about this is....
