Yesterday I've heard that James Westerwelt has written a
program called BP for modelling neural networks with the
backpropagation algorithm in GRASS.
Has anybody heard of this program ?
Is it available free or are there any restrictions ?

Don't know about JW's work, but
I believe that Ranjan Muttiah (muttiah@ecn.purdue.edu)
and Xin Zhuang (zhuang@ecn.purdue.edu) also did some work
with neural nets and GRASS. Either might be able
to point you in the right direction.
