Cell file size

As Susan Huse suggests, the "problem" is really not a problem at all. Any
raster file _created_ by GRASS4.0 or higher is automatically compressed using
run-length encoding. For imagery this usually does not result in very
significant disk space savings; hence the small difference in file size.
Run "r.compress -u raster_map_name" to uncompress if you want to compare file
sizes.
