Community modules cleanup, September 2026

Hi,
I had a look at the community modules for the usual periodic cleanup of the
community modules that are lacking usage and/or traction… and could not find much!

GeoServer 3 acted as a filter and removed many. The only one that I haven’t see anyone use
or maintain in ages is gwc-sqlite.

If there are no objections, I’ll remove the module in the next few days.
Thoughts?

Cheers
Andrea

Andrea I think some of the ogcapi “testbed” community modules have been superseeded (as their RnD folded into other standards) :

  • ogcapi-images - may already be gone?
  • ogcapi-tiled-features

Hi Jody,
not a bad idea, feel free to remove those modules, indeed
