I am compiling the new interp library and *.surf.tps programs, on an
RS/6000. The three library directories seem to compile ok, but when I
try to compile r.resample.tps, I get the error:
ERROR: ../interp/LIB.RS6000/libinterp.a not an XCOFF object.
I recall a recent message, in either grassp-list or grassu-list about
this kind of error, but at the time I didn't pay it any attention.
(Email overload.) Unfortunately it must have been so recent that it
is not yet in the archive on moon, which is only up to date to the
end of July.
Can anyone help me? What is an "XCOFF" object? Why is my libinterp.a
not one? I suspect what it means is that libinterp.a didn't get compiled
as a library, and I need to add some compile or link option into the
Gmakefiles in the three library subdirectories, and recompile them.
Tim.
