Contributed Programs ????

Hello!

First of all I'd like to thank to all of you who answer my last
qustion. It works, thanks.

Now, I stucked with so called Contributed programs. Does anybody
work with them (especialy all *.db.* programs), and can say how are they
usefull. And most of all how to install them (as far as I know they are not
compiled automaticly).

Contributed programs usually compile fine with gmake4.1, provided you're
in the right directory. So if you go to /src.contrib/CAST/d.vect.cats and
run gmake4.1 you should have a smooth compilation. You'll probably have
to run MAKELINKS after that to actually be able to execute them. And as
far as the usefulness is concerned: just try and see!

Good luck!
