When I change to "float mode" using d.colormode and attempt to
display a map the map appears to draw OK - but I get the following
error messages:
reset_color: can't set color 256
reset_color: can't set color 257
reset_color: can't set color 258
reset_color: can't set color 259
reset_color: can't set color 260
reset_color: can't set color 261
reset_color: can't set color 262
reset_color: can't set color 263
reset_color: can't set color 264
reset_color: can't set color 265
reset_color: can't set color 266
reset_color: can't set color 267
reset_color: can't set color 268
reset_color: can't set color 269
reset_color: can't set color 270
reset_color: can't set color 271
reset_color: can't set color 272
reset_color: can't set color 273
reset_color: can't set color 274
reset_color: can't set color 275
Now this map only has values that range from 0 to 255 so this is not
what would be expected. Why would GRASS be trying to set a colour to
values that it does not have to draw? Any ideas?
All suggestions as to where I should start looking for the problem
would be very much appreciated.
