Bill Brown wrote to DT on setting the location for databases for XGRASS
to read by placing or adding to a file in the $GISBASE/etc directory.
I have placed a file called "databases" in the $GISBASE/.xgrass directory
for my version of XGRASS to find it, not in the etc directory. The
documentation states to use an "xgdatabases" command, but we did not
have it on our system.
The $GISBASE/.xgrass/databases file may look like this:
/home/grass4.1/data4.1
/home/demo
/usr/NRI/grass4.1/data4.1
with each line containing the pathway to a GRASS database.
Good luck!
