Calcomp Digitizer 34240 (Drawing Board III)
With these settings and modifications we got our Calcomp Drawing Board III
succesfull running with S.u.S.e. Linux 5.1 and GRASS4.2.1
1) edit /etc/inittab to: S1:23:off:/sbin/mingetty ttyS1 9600
2) chmod 666 /dev/ttyS1
3) cd /usr/grass4.2/etc/dig_drivers
chown root */*
chmod 06775 */*
4) edit .../grass4.2/etc/digcap :
we use the cc95f5_16 Digitizer driver
so the entry in digcap should look like this
calcomp_f5:/dev/ttyS1:cc95f5_16:calcomp digitizer Binary 5
5) edit .../grass4.2/etc/digitzers/cc95f5_16:
type some wait commands like this
startrun
{
wait = 0.1
send = \027%^5\013 #set to format 5
send = \027%R\013
}
etc....
6) the settings on the Digitizer tablett for bank A and B
