digitizer

GRASS GRASS user

hi,

I do like GRASS more and more, so no I decided to buy a digitizer.
Any hints which I can use under Grass? I'm especially looking for a
bigger size digi-board. (around 100x100 cm or 40x40 inch)
It must run under Linux/Grass.

Any hints is appreciated,

| If you look at $GISBASE/etc/digitizer/, you will see that some
| digitizers are soon described. If you want to buy one that is
| not described, make sure that the vendor will give you enough
| documentation about the communication with their digitizer, and
| not only a brain-damaged Wintab driver !

  I'll be able to tell you in a few weeks. I have a Hitachi (which I got for
free) and I have all the docs from the company about the communications
protocol. It's a useful size ("D", or 36" x 48") and I am anxious to get it
up and running.
