Display Monitors in Grass

Hi there ,

I'm having problems getting d.mon to run . I can't open a window due to the
error that no monitors are running, my list is as follows

Monitors:

x3
Graph_Set: can't open
Please start graphics monitor <x3>.
Error - Graphics monitor <x3> not running!
Problem selecting x3. Will try once more
Please start graphics monitor <x3>.
Error - Graphics monitor <x3> not running!

The Graph_Set: can't open message on our SUN system usually
means that your display variable in your environment isn't
set (i.e. setenv DISPLAY machine). Don't know if this applies
to Masscomp.
