Within GRASS, when switching the active window from the display monitor
to something else, the colors -- using an 8-bit color monitor -- become
corrupted. (That is, we can't modify the display interactively on 8-bit
color systems.)
Will this problem go away with a 16-bit color system? (Our IPX will support
only 8-bit or 16-bit color -- not 24-bit color.)
