Fast GRASS FTP sites??

Does anyone know of a faster FTP site than the moon.cecer.army.mil server.
To me this server seems to be incredibly slow and downloading all 30 odd
mbs of GRASS 4.1 will take several days (literally). Is this speed normal
or is it just because its heavily used? Would FTPing at night make a
difference?
I would appreciate some advice if possible.

I find the best time to FTP is early in the morning. 30 MB should only
take an hour, during off-peak times if you are using a high speed
connection (i.e. ethernet etc. . .).
