FWD: You should act on this

Folks,

No need for a deluge of reply comments to any of these lists regarding this
message - this message should suffice - and please if you sent this message out
to anyone - do us all a favor and forward out my comments refutting this hoax
back up your e-mail tree.

Using these resource http://www.snopes.com/ specifically
http://www.snopes.com/info/current.htm
you can read the following information debunking of this annoying "real" e-mail
that has been wasting bandwidth for years.

Here is the response from Snooe.com

5¢ Surcharge on E-mail

Congress or the Canadian government is about to impose a 5¢ surcharge
      per e-mail.

      Status: False.

No, this is not happening. There is no Bill 602P, and no public-minded
lawyer named Richard Stepp. Visit our A Long Pay From Home page for this
      hoax's tortured history.

Bottom line? This is false - please research any "incredible" announcements
you get like this before wasting space on a public list such as GRASS. This is
not the medium for such things.

This was sent to me by one of my workers who knows these people. With that
proviso... Think of what this would do to mailservers and other development
