[GeoNetwork-devel] 19139 schema missing iso19139GeoBox template

Hi,

I take it back, the template metadata-iso19139-geo.xsl exists in iso19139mcp-2.0 and iso19139.anzlic. Our current metadata are all mcp1.4 so I had not installed/tested the mcp-2.0 or the anzlic plug-ins. Should it be included in the mcp or mcp-1.4 plug-ins?

Cheers

Kevin

Subject: 19139 schema missing iso19139GeoBox template

Hi Geonetwork Developers,

I’m finalising some testing for an upgrade of our Geonetwork, and came across and issue with editing geographical bounding boxes. The templates are trying to invoke a template named iso19139GeoBox but I can’t find this in any of the MCP variants, or in 19139 itself (the one that sits in core-geonetwork project). We’re back in 2.10.1 so maybe it’s been fixed in latest version. I haven’t made any changes this is straight out of a GITHUB fork of 2.10.1.

Any suggestions for acquiring the iso19139GeoBox template? I had some Google hits on an XSLT metadata-iso19139-geo.xsl but they were dated back to 2009 and 2010. This XSLT does not exist in the forks I have created.

Cheers

Kevin

Kevin,

ANZMEST 2.10.x is on github - GitHub - anzmest/core-geonetwork: GeoNetwork repository - its a fork of GeoNetwork 2.10.x with schema plugins for AU/NZ - you can fork ANZMEST and immediately obtain all the AU/NZ schema plugins and keep up with all the changes to schema plugins and geonetwork 2.10.x as required. I would definitely use that or at least the latest GeoNetwork 2.10.2+ if doing an upgrade.

MCP 2.0 still needs ratification by the MCP governance committee so I'd continue to use iso19139.mcp until that occurs.

As regards the iso19139GeoBox template that iso19139.anzlic and iso19139.mcp use, its part of the iso19139.anzlic schema so, yes, you do need to have iso19139.anzlic installed for it to work - should be a depends on iso19139.anzlic for the iso19139.mcp schema - I'll add that shortly.

I can't help feeling you might have some sort of problem with your repo branch though because the XSLT file (you refer to below) metadata-iso19139-geo.xsl (in schema iso19139) was renamed metadata-geo.xsl in 2.10.x?

Cheers,
Simon
