[GeoNetwork-devel] 2.4.x Problems

Hi List,

  1. SVN’d the latest (today), and built with Ant.
  2. Connected to our 2.2 Postgresql database
  3. Ran the latest CSW 2.0.2 Test App
  4. Keep getting back: “CSW Harvesting is disabled.”

I tried again on my localhost machine, this time using the sample data, but couldn’t run GAST to fill the database with the samples. Keep getting:

String Index Out Of Range: 41

This is using the built in database, and running Database Setup in Gast. Gets to 71%, Filling Table: IsoLanguagesDes, then the error.

Any hints? Esp on the CSW harvesting thing?

Hi Roger,

I believe(!) I fixed the GAST loading bug just recently (commit rev 3311 and 3312 to trunk on 28/4) - it wouldn't be in the RC1 release but the trunk should have it. Can you check that your code has those changes and let me know if its still failing with those changes applied?

Hi,

The GAST loading bug was fixed but GAST still failing,it reaches 92 %
(Filling table : CategoriesDes) with no error.

Anyone else with this isssue?

Hi,

there seems to be a problem with the IsoLanguagesDes.ddf under
geonetwork/gast/setup/db

As attachment the file that works for me.
