No, you can not do this through the same form. this may be a bug and we have to investigate it. It may be related to the existence or absence of required metadata elements, I'm not sure.

Besides, I'd really apprecite it if you could explain to me
how to add logo to the metadata.

The logo is configured on the server. There are instructions on how to do this on the http://geonetwork-opensource.org website. To be precise here: http://geonetwork-opensource.org/administrator/exercises/exercise\_2
