Sorry for the delay in getting back - been on leave.
Yes, the server was certainly started when I was using the GAST facility. One thing I didn’t do, however, was substitute all the directories in the build (ie. bin, csw, docs, gast, installer, jetty, schematrons, src and web) and not just web. Not sure why I didn’t do this at first, but I’ve done it now.
This has prompted a different error for problem (1), but problem (2) is the same. So the current issues are now:
- When importing sample data, I get the following error message:
“no segments* file found in org.apache.lucene.store.FSDirectory@/usr/local/geonetwork/web/geonetwork/WEB-INF/lucene: files:”
- When I go to the Administraton->New Metadata page, there are no templates in the “Template” drop-down menu.
The sample data isn’t critical, but being able to add new metadata is critical. Does anyone know where it’s looking to populate the Templates menu?
