[GeoNetwork-devel] cannot assign user to group

Hi all,

I have followed the privileges configuration here http://geonetwork-opensource.org/manuals/2.10.0/eng/users/admin/authentication/index.html#ldap

ldapUserContextMapper.mapping[privilege]=groups,sample

and when we sign in as a new user from LDAP they are not added to any groups. Is this a bug? Does anyone have the same problem?

I’ve tested ldap config in a number of LDAP structures without trouble so far, so it should work.
You should turn on debug in
https://github.com/geonetwork/core-geonetwork/blob/2.10.x/web/src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/log4j.cfg
for
log4j.logger.geonetwork.ldap
log4j.logger.org.springframework.security
log4j.logger.org.springframework.security.ldap
and see what the output is.
