Dear PSC,

Here is a proposal for DCAT support enhancements in GeoNetwork 3: https://github.com/geonetwork/core-geonetwork/wiki/DCAT-enhancements.

The proposal describes the changes done for CSW and OAI-PHM servers to support DCAT output and a new service to retrieve all public metadata in DCAT format.

Hi Jose: it would be great to see this in GeoNetwork. For greater interoperability, I would recommend that the outputschema value be:

http://www.w3.org/ns/dcat#

Thanks, I’ll update the pull request to update the CSW output schema to use http://www.w3.org/ns/dcat# instead of actual dcat value.

Lets see if the proposal goes on.
