[GeoNetwork-devel] CFV: Persistent validation status

Dear PSC members,

This is a proposal to add persistent validation status in order to be
able to search for valid/invalid records and return validation status
information :

The proposal describes main differences with the previous
PersistentValidationResults proposal (motion passed in September 2009
but not added to trunk).

Hi Francois,

Nice proposal. Will this involve a change to the Geonetwork db
i.e would there be additional columns in the 'metadata' table
to store the status information?

I'm supporting a GeoNetwork site (based on v2.4.2) that has been customized heavily - and federated with external Web applications - to supply persistent-validation-like features.

I'd love to see this happen. My life would become a lot easier if persistent validation was added to the GeoNetwork core.
