Dear PSC and developers,
I would like to propose a feature freeze for v2.8 on May 4 2012. Upon feature freeze we’ll create a v2.8.x branch and work on stabilizing that version can start (see also http://trac.osgeo.org/geonetwork/wiki/release_strategy ).
From that moment on it will take another six weeks to get to the point of releasing 2.8 stable. I propose that date to be at the end or immediately after Bolsena (10-16 June).
