+1 from me. I very much like the tool!

I have some questions about the metadata elements that are required for this function to work properly? Could you describe that also in the proposal? How will the UI present more than 2 Download links?

Using an online resource element with protocol is OGC:WFS (like for WMS).

Could you describe that also in the proposal?

Hi-- I'm a lurker on the geonetwork-dev list. I like the link to the WFS
service from an online/CI_OnlineResource element. For interoperability, it's
important to be very clear in the profile for this tool whether the
linkage/URL is to the WFS endpoint, the full WFS capabilities document (my
recommendation...), or an actual GetFeature request.

Those two are supported.

or an actual GetFeature request.

I don't think GetFeature links should be supported as it could point
to a specific area or a set of features using custom parameters
already set in the link by the metadata author.
