[GeoNetwork-devel] Change template top-toolbar.html to customized header

Yes, it contains the cache. However, after every tempting with the angular modules I reset the cache and restart tomcat just to be sure that I don’t have any leftovers from that source.

I activate the view via ?view=myView. I also tried it in the settings but then I have an error like this in the default view: “Service not available. The service ‘/geonetwork/srv/eng/myownheader.html’ does not exist or you don’t have privileges to access it. Return to the search page.” and it still is not working with my own view.

That only happens when I try my own files in my own view. If I create a folder in catalog/templates and access any file from it there is no problem at all. Default is fine and my view is intact.

Hi,

Does the war file contains the wro4j cache?

How are you activating your view? Parameter or via settings?

Hi Maria,
thank’s for your reply.
I work with the war file on Lubuntu 15.
I tried to create my own view, leaving default as fallback position.
I started quite simple following the documentation ‘create your own view’
and just have an index.html and very rudimentary module. If I put a
‘ng-include’ command in the index I end up with parts of the topbar.
After every change I empty the cache and restart tomcat.
No, debug does not work.
Mmh, I just noticed that it is perhaps not specifically the topbar. In the
response there is definitely included the signin.html, overwriting the
content of my template.
Do you need more information?
Thank you for your help!

Regards,
Gabi

path should be relative to catalog
/geonetwork/srv/eng/myownheader.html is wrong

do something like
/geonetwork/catalog/views/yourview/templates/myownheader.html
