[GeoNetwork-devel] Data Cataloging - Data Categories

Dear Group.
Can you help with a few pointers to information.

I am looking for the best way to categories datasets - I wondered if anyone can point me to any “standards”, using well described/ defined names, to apply when grouping/cataloging datasets?

Thank you for any assistance

Best Regards

Dear Mr Kidd,

Welcome to GeoNetwork.

Does the aggregate element in ISO 19115 help? It can be used to aggregate related datasets.
You can find some information on this in the mailing list archives.
