[GeoNetwork-devel] Data directory issues

Hi

I’m having issues to get copied the schemas to an external data directory. The folder is created during the startup for the metadata schemas, but it’s empty, no schema is copied there.

Checking the code in 2.10.3 (also similar code seem in develop branch). I can’t really understand if this really works.

In GeonetworkDataDirectory:

  • First is call setDataDirectory to define the folders for indexes, schemas, etc. This method creates the directories if doesn’t exist.

  • After that initDataDirectory is call and copies the information, but seem only if the destination directory doesn’t exist. But that folder has been created in previous step.

Not sure if I’m doing something wrong or this is really a bug? Any feedback is welcome.
