To my surprise, Jetty installs GeoNetwork 2.6 RC0 and Geoserver to a temporary folder on Windows 7 (C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp\Jetty_localhost_8080_geonetwork.war__geonetwork__ec1qfd_3773222453870654825). That folder gets largely emptied when shutting down GeoNetwork through the "Stop server" link.
This means that all DB entries and any modified config.xml are lost too. The next time I start up GeoNetwork, I get a new temporary folder.
Can I get GeoNetwork to work by just placing the war files into Tomcat's webapps folder?
What configurations and paths do I have to change?
Ciao, Wolfgang
