We have implemented a customization that shows the Download button for
ISO19139 metadata when the record has protocol WWW:LINK and
CI_OnLineFunctionCode/@codeListValue="download". This is useful for
enabling file download for files that have not been uploaded using
GeoNetwork.
I'd love to see this feature in GeoNetwork code base, as I think it is
a quite generic feature. Do you find it useful?
If yes, should I open a ticket on Track and upload the patch there?
(Note: I have implemented it using 2.6.4 codebase).
