Dear all,
I have removed the Report View and Roadmap View for anonymous users of the old Trac (http://trac.osgeo.org/geonetwork/report) since we have moved to use Github Issues now. The old tickets system is more confusing than helpful for those who are new to GeoNetwork.
By removing those view permissions, individual tickets are still visible. Users clicking on a link pointing to an old issue will be able to see the ticket as always. The menu items “View tickets” and “Roadmap” are just no longer visible for anonymous visitors.
In the long run I think it is best to also remove these view permissions for authenticated users. But maybe that is a little quick to do all at once.
Core committers, can you please respond within two days in case this causes problems for you? In case people have serious problems with this I can restore the view permissions for these two views.
Some of us are still be able to view the Reports and old Roadmap (François, Jose, Simon, myself). I could add the same view permissions to those core developers that still want to be able to browse the tickets in this way.
Thanks for your feedback.
Cheers,
Jeroen
