Hi everyone,
I’m very interested by the 3.0 ebRIM branch of Geonetwork and I want to build it from sources. I have tried to build it using Ant and Maven 2 but I didn’t succeed. I use a Ubuntu 8.04 Virtual Machine with Sun Java 1.6 update 13 and maven 2.0.8.
So i have some questions :
- Is the Geonetwork 3.0 branch head supposed to build ?
- Which version of ant/maven do you use for the development?
My plan is to evaluate this branch for testing purpose. I will provide you some feedback on my test if you are interested.

Hi,
I did a checkout of that branch last week and I could build the projects using an additional pom.xml declaring the modules. I used Eclipse with M2Eclipse to build and it worked fine, I just had to add this arguments to the VM args to make it work: -DskipTests=true
I think that the embedded Maven is 2.0.9 but I am not sure.
Let me know for your test results.
Best regards,
Guillaume
