[GeoNetwork-devel] geonetwork: Importing XML file

Hello,

I’ve downloaded the attached file from the website https://catalog.data.gov/dataset/surficial-geology-of-africa-geo7-2ag as an ISO19139 Metadata and tried to import it into my geocatalog based on Geonetwork 2.10.3 but the import operation failed due to the following error:

This was how I set my import window:

Could you support me importing that file.

Hi Hamdi,

You didn’t select the right style sheet. Your metadata is not ISO 19115 format (you know, the first format that existed, with short tags)
If you have a look at your metadata content, it seems you would have to use the gmiTogmd style sheet (it uses gmi prefix instead of standard gmd prefix)
It tried, it works. Even if it doesn’t validate.
