We have implemented a customization that shows the Download button for
ISO19139 metadata when the record has protocol WWW:LINK and
CI_OnLineFunctionCode/@codeListValue="download". This is useful for
enabling file download for files that have not been uploaded using
GeoNetwork.
This ticket includes the patch for trunk.
Note that there is a 'brother' ticket for 2.6.4 branch:
http://trac.osgeo.org/geonetwork/ticket/806
As download behaviour have changed in trunk (now 'Download Summary' dialog
is used), the implementation is different compared to 2.6.4 branch. In
trunk, the Download Summary will show these links are remote.
