[GeoNetwork-devel] GeoNetwork Search - Filter by Link Protocol

Hi guys,

I’m currently customizing a TabSearch layout. Would it be possible to add a radio group in the search panel to filter by the data link’s protocol? For example, add this radio group to the search panel:

  1. All results

  2. Downloads (with protocol == ‘WWW:DOWNLOAD-1.0-http–download’)

  3. Google Earth (with protocol == ‘application/vnd.google-earth.kml+xml’)

Thanks alot!

Hi,

I guess you can have a look here : http://geonetwork-opensource.org/manuals/trunk/eng/users/admin/advanced-configuration/index.html#add-a-search-field
With a few lines of javascript, it should be ok.

Thanks Jean. Just a followup, is it possible to put a compound or multi-value search parameter? For example, I want to search for data with protocol = ‘download’ or protocol = ‘wms’.

Hey Jean,

Found a way to do this by customizing the conditions and values saved in the index.

Thanks for the help! :slight_smile:
