Hi Praveen,
I’m finding the information on:
http://lab.usgin.org/groups/geonetwork-configuration-and-development/windows-7-64-bit-guide-geonetwork-development-within
quite handy for checking out source from svn into eclipse and then creating the maven package and maven install from eclipse (even though I’m in Windows XP - I’m just doing everything in 32bit). I haven’t got to the bit about Deploying to Tomcat 6 or 7 and Debugging from within Eclipse, but that’s my next step - so far everything else in the instructions has worked. Hopefully this is correct (my disclaimer) and useful to you.

Hi Mathieu,
Thanks for quick response,
Already I did this setup, Now my Eclipse project looks like this.
For this source I want to apply some changes, then how to compile the source, deploy in tomcat and run the GeoNetwork from tomcat with the modifications/changes that I did to the source.
I would like to use PostGres database, I would like to add my own layers to the map, how should I configure the database to the GeoNetwork source.
Thanks & Regards,
Praveen.

Subject: Re: [GeoNetwork-devel] GeoNetwork Trunk Build in Eclipse
Hi Praveen,
another problem I am facing is… by using the instruction in the below URL I did the “Eclipse Setup” http://geonetwork-opensource.org/manuals/2.6.4/developer/GeoNetworkDeveloperManual.pdf but after this I am not able to understand how to proceed further. I am not able to get how to compile and deploy the GeoNetwork source into Tomcat. Is there a tutorial on how to compile a GeoNetwork (GN) trunk build in Eclipse? Thanks in advance, Praveen.
