Hi
I have updated 3.0.x branch to point to the correct revision having the pom version 3.0.1-SNAPSHOT (previously, the revision pointed had 2.11 version)
But noticed that both 3.0.x and develop branches of Geonetwork use the the same submodule branch (master). I think we need to create a 3.0.x branch also for this submodule, otherwise when releasing new releases of 3.0.x is going to be a bit messy.
Any opinion about this? If looks fine, I’ll check to create the branch

Hi
Then, GeoServer is not used anymore? Or the GeoPublisher uses it?
If not, not really sure that makes much sense even to include it in the installer.

+1 for me even if should probably at some point drop the submodule and simply download the WAR for building the installer version (we are not using the WMS anymore for background maps so we could save space here) ?
Cheers.

It may be used if you configure it, but you can use an existing one (or
even MapServer).
If not, not really sure that makes much sense even to include it in the
installer.
We discussed that in Bolsena, and the conclusion was that's also good to
have a simple package with both GeoNetwork and GeoServer (even if it's
quite simple to install geoserver.war once you have GeoNetwork running). It
would make the repository easier to maintain, if we just remove it.
