Dear developers,
I have upgraded my GeoNetwork from 2.8 to 2.10 where I am using its XML services in order to implement some steps in my workflow, namely Login, Harvesting, etc, services.
After my upgrade I experienced the following problem while using those services. For example the POST request:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
admin
admin
To URL: http://localhost:8080/geonetwork/srv/eng/xml.user.login
brings back the following error message from geonetwork:

I tested both RC0 and RC1 of GN 2.10.
Any idea which would help to resolve this problem would be more than appreciated, since I would like to have GeoNetwork upgraded from my project.
Many thanks in advance,
Tomas

Hi Tomas,
2013/5/15 Tomas Kliment <tomas.kliment@anonymised.com>:
Dear developers,
I have upgraded my GeoNetwork from 2.8 to 2.10 where I am using its XML
services in order to implement some steps in my workflow, namely Login,
The security layer was replaced by Spring Security in 2.9 [1] but the
login should be quite similar. You could mimic what the widget apps do
[2]. You could also use basic auth now like Talend Spatial [3] for
example.
