[GeoNetwork-devel] Gui Widgets Debug in Firefox problem

Hi,

(I posted this already, but I think it only appeared in the old forum
address. Apologies for any duplicate posting.)

We are using the new widgets interface in a project we are developing and
for the most part really liking it. But I have one small issue that I am
hoping someone can give me some quick guidance on.

In this project we needed modified a few javascript files. For simplicity
sake we are using the apps/index_debug.html so we do not need to edit and/or
recompile the minified javascript. The problem is that the index_debug.html
will not run in Firefox - even if we do not alter it. The index.html, which
calls the minified files works properly. Firebug is reporting that several
js variables do not seem to get set when using FF, such as "GeoNetwork" and
"OpenLayers".

I am hopping that someone can give me a quick pointer as to where the
problem may lie so I can create a quick fix for FF.

Cheers,

From my side, I did not find a workaround for this. It also affects

the main GUI in debug mode since a year now due to changes on FF JS
loading order.

Cheers.
