[GeoNetwork-devel] Harvesting menagement

Hi again

We have another problem, now with harvesting menagement. In our macedonian
translation this tag opened doesn't contain any of the buttons (page it's
empty) like on picture bellow :frowning:

Anyone to share some meaning or advice what can be problem here???

In English everything works fine, all the buttons are there.

Sounds like the harvesting.xml file has not be translated for your language.

I am surprised that italian doesn’t work though… it seems to have the file, at least in master. I forget which version of geonetwork you are using.

Well we've checkedout the current development version form
http://geonetwork-opensource.org/downloads.html and it should be
v2.6.4(current release). And aboutr translation everything is translated
into Macedonian according to
http://trac.osgeo.org/geonetwork/wiki/HowToTranslate and everything works
fine so far except this :frowning:

There are a couple things I would do. 1 add a ! to the service name so that you can see the strings that are used before the transformation.

  1. Look at all the ajax requests made to see what requests are made and check for failing requests. Also look for requests that return english.

I don’t remember how the translations are handled for harvesting exactly. It is a little different than the normal system.
