[GeoNetwork-devel] how to change items in the country list?

Dear GN developers,

I would need to change the list of countries with the dropdown list in the editor. Basically, I would need to shorten it and add bounds as EU12-15-25 and 27.
I have been checking it, but could find the resource from where it picks up the coordinates.

geonetwork\web\geonetwork\loc\eng\xml\countries.xml

This file exists for each language being supported.
