[GeoNetwork-devel] How to Display footer on main.home page in GN 2.6.4?

Hi,

I have created a separate template for footer and its entry is also made in
config file. This footer template is being called from main.xsl.

After the above steps the footer is displayed on all pages except the
main.home page.

Please could anyone help with how to display footer on main.home page in GN
2.6.4?

Best Regards,
Saher

Do you only want to update the main.home page or all pages?

For main.home I think you have to edit xsl/main-page.xsl

for all pages I think the file you want to edit is xsl/main.xsl

Hi Jesse,

Yes i want the footer on all pages, and for that i have called footer template from xsl/main.xsl and it works.

But for main.home, its not working, although i have tried to call the footer template from xsl/main-page.xsl.
In case of main-page.xsl dynamic divs/panels are created and within that the templates are called , i have tried that too to create panel for footer but its not working, please if you could provide any help to create dynamic panel for footer on main.home page.

Kind Regards,
Saher

As far as I know you should only have to modify the main-page.xsl

<xsl:template name=“content”>

template. If it is not working I would experiement around with it. I don’t personally use that portal so that is all I can say.

Hi Jesse,

Thank you.
In order to display footer on main.home page, we need to add region in Ext.onReady(function() on main-page.xsl:-
// South: footer
{
region:‘south’,
contentEl :‘footer’,
border:false,
split: true
}

I hope the above will also help some one else :slight_smile:

Best Regards,
Saher
