[GeoNetwork-devel] how to upload a file in the metadata creation form

Dear Shruti Babbar,
I'm sorry to hear that. Could you please provide us with details on the version of GeoNetwork you are using. We know there's an issue here with version 2.1 that has been fixed in the upcoming version 2.2. But I would like to be sure you indeed use version 2.1
Thanks and kind regards,
Jeroen

Jeroen,

We've been tripping over this too with IE7 - dear old IE appears to have a bug documented here http://dev.rubyonrails.org/ticket/11126
which needs a one line change to metadata-edit.xsl but which also requires commons-fileupload in jeeves to go to version 1.2.1 - I don't think I have Jeeves svn access so can't do that but I'll submit the fix to metadata-edit.xsl

It's a real showstopper for 2.2 so it'd be good to fix it

Cheers,
Simon

Sorry - not quite sure if that's what I meant to say

So I'll try again: It's an annoying bug for those forced to use exploder and I'm glad there is a fix and that others have made it available for us to get at

Cheers,
Simon

Simon,
If you have the fix (sorry, I write this in the train, so can't check the site you documented), I can apply it to jeeves and integrate it. It is indeed an annoying issue.
Ciao,
Jeroen
