Hi,
testing the last trunk version:
r7805
with postgres DB.
I notice that it write always on the public schema.
The early version correctly wrote in the active schema.
I notice that because I usually will use
the setting :
search_patch : $user,public
to skip the public schema as repository.
Now with this version It has filled the public schema with all the tables of GN. 
Unfortunately I cannot open a ticket so I notice this to this List.
